Southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see strong to severe storms, strong winds and possibly large hail on Sunday, That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The agency posted the following on it's website:

Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected today, and some will have the potential to become strong to severe. ⌚ Showers and storms are expected to develop late this morning and end by early evening. The strongest storms will be between noon and 6PM. ⛈️ The main hazards today are the potential for strong to damanging wind gusts and isolated large hail. Stay weather aware this afternoon!

On April 6 and 7, 2024, wild winds exceeding 90 mph blew through SE Wyoming, causing havoc in Cheyenne and on the interstate. Everything from fences to semis were upturned in the wind storm. Check out the damage shared by residents below.
