The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning of heavy snow, incuding blowing snow, in some areas of southeast Wyoming this weekend.

High Wind Warnings are also in effect, with 75 mile-per-hour winds possible in much of the region.

Update: Winter Storm Watches have been upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings. In addition, Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Rawlins and Arlington, where blowing snow could lead to reduced visibility and accumulation on roadways. Mountain snow accumulations up to 18 inches are possible with wind gusts up to 60 MPH. For Rawlins and Arlington, snow accumulations up to 1-3 inches are possible with wind gusts up to 60 MPH. Strong winds will likely lead to poor visibility in blowing snow.
