The Coloradoan is reporting that 100 sheep were killed yesterday when two semi-trucks crashed into each other on County Road 33.

Police say a waste management truck was heading northbound on Country Road 33 when he pulled out in front of a semi-truck carrying 300 sheep. The semi-truck ended up in the ditch, on it's side and the driver was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

The driver who caused the accident was uninjured and her semi-truck had minor damage.Authorities had to shut down the intersection for about four hours while the dead sheep were removed.
