Yellowstone Shooting Victim Identified

Officials at Yellowstone National Park have released the identity of the young girl who died from a gunshot wound on Saturday. The victim has been identified as 3 year old Ella Marie Tucker from Pocatello, Idaho. Park rangers and an ambulance responded to the Grant Village Campground in response to a 911 call for help from a woman who told the emergency dispatcher her daughter had just shot herself with a handgun. Efforts by emergency responders to resuscitate the girl were unsuccessful.

National Park Service rangers and special agents continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Saturday morning incident.
