Wyoming Governor Signs Several Bills Into Law

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon on Wednesday signed several bills into law.

He issued a line-item veto on one bill, allowing another to become law without his signature.

The governor signed the following bills into law:

Senate File 57. This bill creates a hearing aid program for eligible low-income adults.

Senate File 19. In the words of a news release, this bill modifies the per-child amounts used to calculate payments to early childhood centers and preschools that serve children with disabilities. The increase in funding will help support these centers and preschools, which families use to access critically needed services for children with developmental disabilities.

Senate File 27. Public Service Commission Integrated Resource Plans.

House Bill 104. Omnibus Water Bill-plannning.

Gordon allowed Senate File 41 to become law without his signature.

Finally, Gordon issued a line-item veto on Senate File 75, the Omnibus Water Bill- construction. You can read a letter from the governor explaining the line-item veto here.
