Video of LWV 2014 Primary Candidate Forums Available

Video of League of Women Voters forums for 2014 candidates for Secretary of State, Superintendent of Public Instruction and Governor are available online and will be rebroadcast in the coming weeks by Charter Communications on cable TV in Cheyenne.

The forums for Secretary of State and Superintendent were recorded on July 28, and the forum for gubernatorial candidates was recorded on July 29. Both were in the Laramie County Commission hearing room in Cheyenne and were moderated by former Secretary of State Kathy Karpan.

Find the forums on www.YouTube.com (search for League of Women Voters of Wyoming candidate forum) and on the Wyoming League Website www.wyominglwv.org. Charter has scheduled the rebroadcast of the Secretary of State and Superintendent forums for 6 p.m. Aug. 3 and the gubernatorial forum for 11 a.m. Aug. 9. Charter will broadcast on Channel 19.

The forums were sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Wyoming and were hosted by the Cheyenne League. LWV is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates for good government and works on voter service activities that help people to be informed and to vote.

The primary election is on Aug. 19, although early voting has begun, and will select candidates to advance to the General Election on Nov. 4.
