A Cheyenne resident and Air Force veteran says he is organizing a rally Saturday to demand vets "receive the health care they deserve" from the Veteran's Administration.

Gary Brown says the event is scheduled for 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Brimmer Park east of the Cheyenne V.A. hospital. He says he is hoping the event will let the Veteran's Administration know that people are upset over problems with health care for veterans and "we're not going to let this thing die".

Brown says he is encouraging people to carry American Flags in honor of Flag Day as well as any signs they may want to create to express their opinions about health care for veterans.

Brown says gubernatorial candidate Taylor Haynes has said he will speak, and adds he's hoping that fellow candidates Cindy Hill and incumbent Matt Mead might address the rally as well.
