Tuesday On The Morning Zone Fast and Furious

Today, Dave’s guests will be:

7:07AM MST: Law Enforcement analyst/columnist Jim Kouri joins Dave to give the latest on the congressional investigations into Operation Fast and Furious and more on Eric Holder and the Administrations efforts to cover up and stop the investigation.

7:37AM MST: Larry Pratt, Executive Director, Gun Owners of America (GOA) continues the discussion on Fast and Furious and he says, “I expect the December 8th hearing between Attorney General Eric Holder and the House  Judiciary Committee, which includes Darrell Issa, to be among the most compelling in some time.” Much has happened since Attorney General Eric Holder told Rep. Darrell Issa, under oath, that the first time he had heard about the scandalous operation Fast and Furious was a “few weeks” earlier. That statement has proven false and Holder is once again scheduled to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee on December 8thLarry Pratt, is planning to be in attendance at that hearing and expects very high drama as Holder has come under heavy political fire in recent weeks. “You saw the toll this scandal is taking on Holder,” Pratt says, “when he was asked to respond to the mounting congressional calls for his resignation.”At last count, 51 congressmen and 2 senators have called for Holder to step down over the Fast and Furious scandal, which led to the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry after guns found at his murder scene were ones put in the hands of drug cartels by Holder’s ATF. When Daily Caller reporter Neil Munroe asked Holder about the number of resignation calls, the Attorney General lost his temper. In addition to Issa, Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and Trey Gowdy (R-SC) also sit on the House Judiciary Committee and each has been fierce when questioning witnesses in this scandal. Like Issa, this will be their first opportunity to grill Holder. Also, like Issa, each has learned a great deal more since Holder was last in front of them.

8:07AM MST: John P. McTernan is a lifetime student of American history. Since becoming a Christian in the early 1970s he has dedicated himself to the study of biblical prophecy and spent thousands of hours with Jews and Muslims debating and corresponding in defense of the Gospel. McTernan authored the acclaimed God’s Final Warning to America and co-authored the bestseller Israel: The Blessing or the Curse.  John will give us his interpretation of ‘Arab Spring’ and the changes it as wrought in the middle east.

9:07AM MST: Lisa Murphy and the gang from LCCC will be in for their regular monthly update on what’s happening at the college, including some great holiday events in the wings.
