There will be Wyoming product vendors, historic games, pie eating contests, special guests, ice cream socials, music and event a scavenger hunt for the kiddos.

According to Christina Bird, Superintendent of the Historic Governor's Mansion, "It's almost like a street fair." But that's not all. There will be Historic Reenactor's from the 1st Veterans Silent Cavalry headed by Commander Doug Gumm, who started the group in 2011.

You're kids will get a live-fire history lesson in a very fun way. The historic reenactor's are very good at staying true to their time periods and not breaking character. They'll be available for interaction in answering questions about Western and military heritage in Wyoming.

Bring your camera's for some great photo opportunities with the guests. Grandma will be glad you did and your scrap book will be filled with smiles. Take advantage of this awesome event this weekend at the Historic Governors Mansion in Cheyenne Wyoming.
