Looking for some family friendly entertainment this Friday night?

The Harlem Ambassadors bring their comedy basketball tour to South High School on Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. to raise scholarship money for the Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education.

The Harlem Ambassadors will take on a team of local challengers, the HOOPE Squad, this Friday night with the show starting at 7. They have all kinds of fun while they're embarrassing the Cheyenne talent with their high-flying slam dunks and dazzling ball handling.

Their show also features comedy routines, music, dancing and games for the kids. The coach of the Harlem Ambassadors, Lade Majic, says they like to invite as many kids as they can to come sit on the bench and have a front row seat during the show and get involved in all the fun stuff.

Ann Redman, president of HOPE, says to 'come to the game and cheer on the enthusiastic local talent including local media personalities, elected officials and past basketball players for local schools.'

Money raised will be used for HOPE scholarships for students in Laramie County. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door for adults. Prices are $8 for seniors and students and 5 and under are free.

Get tickets at any South High Basketball or Wrestling home games, American Cleaners & Tailors on E. Lincolnway, Trujillo's Barber Shop on Randall and the Anthony Ortiz State Farm Agency at 1822 Warren Ave.
