The Greater Cheyenne Chamber Foundation and Laramie County Community College proudly are presenting the 2015 The Wyoming Latina Youth Conference in Cheyenne.  With a mission statement "To enrich and empower young Latinas through mentors, education and awareness", they have been doing just that. And this year will really take education and mentoring over the top!

Shayla Rivera, born and raised in Puerto Rico, will be the featured speaker at the conference this year. She attended Texas A&M University and erned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Psychology. She joint the McDonnell Douglas Space Systems at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston and had worked on the NASA Shuttle and Space Station program for eight years.

The event takes place October 16-17, 2015 in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Cheyenne Depot Museum, located at 121 W. 15th Street. Check in time is 6:30 p.m. with the banquet starting at 7 p.m.
