It's that time of year when we all head down memory lane and look forward to watching our favorite Christmas movies that help get us in the holiday spirit.  Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight my favorite all-time Christmas movies that I have enjoyed through the years. I'm sure you have yours too.

  1. Santa And The Three Bears - Produced by Tony Bennett and starring Hal Smith, this 1970 Christmas special is my all-time favorite of all.
  2. It's A Wonderful Life - Starring Jimmy Stewart who wants to take his life after a false banking accusation, but is stopped and reminded of his life by an angel who is trying to get his wings.
  3. Miracle On 34th Street - It just wouldn't be Christmas without watching this 1947 classic starring Ed Gwen and a very young Natalie Wood.
  4. A Christmas Story - Takes place in the 1940's and tries to depict what life was then and how a young boy acquires the famous Ryder BB Gun.
  5. How The Grinch Stole Christmas - People today could learn a valuable lesson that it's not things that bring out the best in us, but family and being thankful for what we have.

The Top 5 at 7:45 airs weekdays with me, Gary Freeman and is sponsored by First Education Federal Credit Union.
