Officials with Rocky Mountain Power have reached a deal with consumer groups on a proposal that would stagger the utilities proposed $50 million dollar rate increase over two years. Rocky Mountain Power is asking for a rate increase for the sixth consecutive year, and the Wyoming Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing in Casper Friday to hear from ratepayers.
