Southeastern Wyoming is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:45 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, at 5:39 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Horse Creek, or 15 miles east of Laramie, moving east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 70 mph are possible, with a peak wind gust at 90 mph already reported at the Laramie Airport at 5:22 p.m.

Considerable tree damage is expected and damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs and outbuildings.

The NWS recommends taking shelter inside a sturdy building.
