Cheyenne, WY. (AP) - Top Wyoming lawmakers say they support Gov. Matt Mead's proposal for funding state employee pay raises in the coming legislative session but also say they are concerned about future state revenues.

Senate President Tony Ross of Cheyenne and House Speaker Tom Lubnau of Gillette said Monday they generally support the budget recommendations Mead released on Friday.

The Republican lawmakers said they agree with Mead's proposal to increase pay for state workers, many of whome haven't seen a raise since 2009.

Ross and Lubnau said they expect the full legislature next year will agree with Mead that the state should not expand the federal Medicaid progra to cover health insurance to more than 10,000 low-income adults.

Mead will present his budget recommendations to members of the Joint Appropriations Committee in Cheyenne next week.
