Regional DUI Task Force Activates This Weekend

Doug Randall/Townsquare Media

The Cheyenne Regional DUI Task Force will swing into action Friday evening, looking for intoxicated motorists.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says St. Patrick’s Day, which is Monday, typically sees a significant increase in drunk driving. Besides the Cheyenne Police Department, other members of the task force include the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and law enforcement from Wyoming State Parks.

The enforcement effort will run through the weekend.
