Police Investigate Laramie Homicide

Police are investigating a homicide that occurred late Sunday night in the city of Laramie.

According to an official press release, the Laramie P.D. responded to a call just after 11:30 pm on May 19th on the 400 block of North 7th St, in Laramie.  Police say a victim, 44 year old Paul A. Hamilton suffered stab wounds in an altercation with another man.  Hamilton was later pronounced dead at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.

Police have arrested 66-year-old Timothy R. Harnden on charges of murder in the second degree, in the case.

Police advise that the investigation of the incident is ongoing, and that Harnden will be read his official charges in court at a later time.
