Our Heroes Job Fair in Laramie on Tuesday, April 30

LARAMIE – The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’s (DWS) Laramie Workforce Center, along with its partners, is hosting a “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair on Tuesday, April 30, at the Hilton Garden Inn (2229 Grand Avenue).

The “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair is a joint effort between the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and the following partners: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Marna M. Kuehne Foundation, the Wyoming Chamber Partnership, the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Wyoming Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Wyoming Veterans Commission, NBC News, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other local partners.

WHEN: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

WHO: The hiring event is open to veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses.

Nearly 30 employers from the energy, construction, engineering, municipal government, medical, retail and other fields will participate.

Employers and job seekers are strongly encouraged to preregister. Walk-ins are welcome but space is limited.
