We all remember the guy on the back of the horse, with a mustache and a 'smoke' dangling out of his mouth. Sound like the Marlboro Man? Well, it is.  Darrel Winfield of Riverton Wyoming died at home on Monday, January 12, 2014. He was 85 years old.

He was discovered by the Leo Burnett Advertising Company back in the 1960's when he worked on the Quarter Circle 5 Ranch in western Wyoming. He was a real cowboy though. He loved horses, rodeo, team roping, ranching and the cowboy way of life.

Phillip Marlow gave no comment upon Winfields death. Darrel Winfield will be buried in Riverton by Davis Funeral Home.
