A 20-year-old Cheyenne resident is in stable condition after suffering multiple stab wounds Thursday night, according to the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.

According to deputies, the man was rollerblading home from his girlfriend's house at about 10 pm Thursday evening when he was accosted by two white men in the 300 block of West College Drive, between Rossman School and the South Greeley Highway.

The Sheriff's Department says the two men were in a medium sized sport-utility vehicle, although they have no information on the specific make or model of the vehicle, or what license plates it displayed.

The victim was robbed of "a number of personal items," including his wallet, a department release says.

Deputies are asking for anyone in the area with knowledge of the incident, whether they witnessed the fracas or have information about the assailants' vehicle — to contact the Sheriff's Department at 307.633.4775, or Crimestoppers at 307.638.8477.
