The Cheyenne Police Department, in conjunction with the WYDOT Highway Safety Behavioral Program,  unveiled the new DUI Task Force command vehicle on Friday December 19.

The command vehicle, which was recently purchased by the Cheyenne Police Department through a Highway Safety grant, will be out in the community during the holiday season.

Lt. Nathan Buseck, with the Cheyenne Police Department, says during Regional DUI Task Force events, the vehicle will act as a command post and will be used by law enforcement officers making DUI arrests. He says the vehicle has all the equipment needed to process a DUI arrest quickly and efficiently.

The Regional DUI Task Force is made up of the Cheyenne Police Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, State Parks, and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department.
