University of Wyoming press release:

University of Wyoming head basketball coach Larry Shyatt has had a re-occurrence of a viral illness that has led to his doctors recommending he take a few days off from coaching.

Shyatt was forced to miss Wyoming’s road game at Air Force on Wednesday, Jan. 22 due to the same viral condition. He will miss the Cowboys’ home game on Saturday, Feb. 1 versus Utah State.

For the Utah State game assistant coach Jeremy Shyatt will coach the Cowboys as he was in charge of scouting Utah State and developing the game plan for Saturday’s game. Future updates on Coach Shyatt’s condition will be made available as he recovers.
