Have you seen paintings by abstract expressionist Mark Rothko?

He's the subject of the play 'Red' written by John Logan, being performed by the Laramie County Community College Theatre Department at the LCCC Playhouse September 19 through 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The show won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Play and tells the story of painter Mark Rothko who has just landed the biggest commission in modern art history, producing a series of murals for a New York City restaurant. The play does contain some adult language.

'Red' will be performed Friday and Saturday nights, September 19 and 20, and Thursday through Saturday, September 25 to 27, with all shows beginning at 7:30.
