Two kids are behind bars after leading police on a brief chase through east Cheyenne Wednesday.

According to police, officers were called to the area of U.S. 30 and Hayes Avenue after receiving a report of several suspects hanging out in the ditch.

Police say the suspects were armed with horns and possibly under the influence of grass.

When officers tried to apprehend the suspects, they ran, but thanks to the help of a local citizen they were caught a short time later.

The suspects, who were identified as homeless, were taken into custody and incarcerated at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
