High West Energy Building Transmission Line

High West Energy is building a transmission line from Cheyenne to Hereford, Colo. according to General Manager Brian Heithoff.

He says the 35 KVA  line is designed to meet the increasing electricity needs posed by oil and gas development in Weld County, Colorado. Heithoff says the 30 mile line is scheduled for completion by late October. Heithoff adds a couple of other new transmission lines are currently being considered by the utility, although he declined to identify them.
