With Halloween fast approaching, here's another one of Wyoming's most haunted places. However, this legend does not involve human ghosts, but rather the spirit of a wild horse known as The White Devil of Rattlesnake Range.

According to local lore, the image of a white stallion still rides the Rattlesnake Range, in the mountains west of Casper. During its life, the horse is said to have attacked any man attempting to rope wild mustangs in the area. Some cowboys were bitten and kicked by the White Devil.

Years later, local ranchers across the range have reportedly witnessed a mysterious white horse galloping across the prairie, protecting the herds wild horses from roundups.
