The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is urging ice fisherman that thawing and freezing conditions on many waters in the state in recent weeks has deteriorated ice conditions on many waters.  Game and Fish spokesman Al Langston says anglers are advised to use extreme caution before venturing out on the ice.

In addition, Langston says anglers who have been fishing on any of the 23 waters covered under the Special Winter Ice Fishing Provision, which allows anglers to use up to six poles, only applies when fishing through the ice. For information go to the game and fish website at gf.state.wy.us.
