The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has mailed out approximately 107 000 post cards asking Wyoming big game hunters about their success in hunting for deer, elk and antelope this year.

Game and Fish spokesman Al Langston says the information in used in setting game management policy, including hunting seasons and quota limits. Hunters who are mailed the postcards will first be asked to respond online.

Those who do not respond at the website wyhunter.org will then be mailed a hard copy survey. Langston says that while not every Wyoming big-game hunter will be surveyed, the survey size is large enough to provide statistically valid survey results
