The Director of the Cheyenne/Laramie County Health Department says his agency is out of flu vaccine, and probably won't be getting more any time soon.

Gus Lopez says people may still be able to get flu shots from private physicians, retail stores and clinics. But he says those organizations are in many cases low on vaccine as well. He advises people who are not able to get flu shots to wash their hands frequently, avoid people who are ill and generally try to follow good health practices. And Lopez is asking people who do have the flu to stay home to avoid spreading the illness.
