When you’ve been around for 100 years, you want to celebrate every one of them. That’s exactly the idea for the “Through the Ages Fashion Show” being hosted by the University of Wyoming Women’s Club as they mark their 100th anniversary.

The event will cover everything from vintage fashion to modern chic in a full-runway show featuring an authentic collection of women’s apparel. Club president Katie Hime said fashions from every decade will be in the show.

Admission is $5 at the door on Saturday, April 28. The show will start at 7:15 p.m. at Hart’s Alley, 404 S. 2nd St. Turtle Rock Cafe will be serving appetizers and drinks ahead of the show.

Caroline Duniway, wife of the university’s ninth president, Clyde A. Duniway, founded the University Women’s Club in 1912. The club was created to promote friendship between faculty members and the wives of faculty. Today, any woman in the Laramie community is welcome to join.
