Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee on Friday bound over three people for trial in District Court  in connection with the killing of a Cheyenne man at the Big Horn Motel on December 7.

35 year old Joshua Bowen of Cheyenne and 32 year old Dagoberto Ontiveros of Cheyenne are charged with First Degree Murder in connection with the death of 48 year Anthony Heyward,

Prosecutors say Ontiveros demanded $20 from Heyward to  buy methamphetamine and attacked him in a room at the Big Horn Motel when Heyward refused to give him money. Bowen allegedly then punched and kicked Heyward after Ontiveros left him unconscious. Heyward was later found dead in the room that afternoon by the motel manager, who contacted police

A third defendant, Kimberly Brewer, allegedly took Heyward's wallet, computer tablet and several other items following the attack. She allegedly took Heyward's debit card to an ATM and used it to get $400.

She is also accused of disposing of several of Heyward's belongings in a trash can, and is  facing charges of being an accessory in the killing. Lee set her bond at $1500.

A fourth person originally arrested in the case, Brandy Miler of Cheyenne, was not formally charged and has since been released.
