The deputy says base law enforcement called stating 28-year-old Thornton, Colorado resident Esquiel Ortiz-Cabriales tried to get on base and when they ran his name it showed he had a warrant out of Arizona.

The deputy says Ortiz-Cabriales was already in handcuffs when he arrived, and dispatch confirmed Ortiz-Cabriales had a felony warrant out of Maricopa County, Arizona.

Ortiz-Cabriales was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and booked in on his warrant.

He's scheduled to appear in Laramie County Circuit Court at 2 p.m. this afternoon, March 28.

UPDATE:

Ortiz-Cabriales waived extradition during his court appearance and will be transferred to Arizona.
