Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak attended  an anti-terrorism course in Washington D.C. earlier this month, according to department spokesman Lt. Mark Munari.

The course, the Anti-Defamation League's Advanced Training School course on Extremist and Terrorist threats, was held June 2-4. Munari says Kozak joined 40 other police chiefs as well as commanders from various federal, state and local police departments across the country. The course included briefings on both the Boston Marathon Bombings as well as the Mumbai, India attacks.

Kozak called the course "one of the best trainings of my 28 years in law enforcement" according to a department press release.
