Cheyenne Rapunzel Auditions September 22 for Missoula Children’s Theatre

Do you know any talented kids who might want to perform on stage?

The Missoula Children's Theatre will present 'Rapunzel' at St. Mary's School on Saturday, September 27, and are holding auditions on Monday, September 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade are encouraged to audition, no advance preparation is necessary. The auditions are open to the entire community and will be held in the multi-purpose room at St. Mary's School, 2200 O'Neil Avenue.

The theatre company from Missoula, Montana arrives on a Monday for a week-long residency during which they'll cast 50-60 kids to help with a full production including costumes, scenery, props and makeup.

Those auditioning should plan to arrive by 1 and stay for the full two hours as some of the cast members will be asked to stay for rehearsal immediately following the audition. Rehearsals throughout the week will be held from 3:15 to 7:45 p.m. each day.

Roles to be cast include Rapunzel, the Princess, Madame Gothel, Rapunzel's Parents, the Wood Elves, Ears of Corn and a Potato, Unicorns, Pixies, Gremlins, Billy Goats Gruff, a Troll, Three Bears, a Beaver, Ogres and Mushrooms.
