Cheyenne Police: Woman Hits Pedestrian on East Pershing

Cheyenne Police responded to East Pershing Boulevard and Windmill Road at 7:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

Spokesman Dan Long says the pedestrian, a 16-year-old Cheyenne male, was transported to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center by ambulance. His current condition is unknown. The boy was hit by a vehicle while he walked north across the intersection of East Pershing Boulevard and Windmill Road. The driver, a 35-year-old Cheyenne woman, was issued a traffic citation for Careless Driving.This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
