Cheyenne Police: Week Has Gone Well

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says Cheyenne Frontier Days 2014 has gone well so far.

Officer Dan Long says police have been busy during CFD directing traffic and watching over the pancake breakfasts, night shows and rodeo events. But he says so far there have been no major incidents and things have mostly gone as planned.

Long says that while local law enforcement doesn't usually deal with crowds this large except during Frontier Days, the years of experience with CFD have given them a good idea of what to expect and how to handle it.
