Cheyenne Police Ask For Help Identifying Jewel Store Thief

Cheyenne Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who tried to steal several gold necklaces from a jewelry store.

That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.

The post says the man entered Frontier Jewelers in the Frontier Mall on March 6 and asked to see several gold necklaces. When an associate handed them over, he took off with the necklaces without paying.

Store employees were able to chase him down and get the necklaces back, but a male employee got punched in the face. The suspect then fled the scene.
