Cheyenne NWS Special Statement On Potential Road Conditions
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning that a combination of freezing drizzle and snowfall could make for unusually slick roads tonight and tomorrow.

A Pacific system and polar cold front will bring colder air and light snow to the area starting late this afternoon. Although precipitation rates are expected to be low, snow accumulations around one inch, patchy fog, and light freezing drizzle will likely result in hazardous travel conditions starting Monday evening and continuing through Tuesday morning. Motorists and travelers are urged to use caution, especially while traveling across high elevation passes and bridges. Light snow and freezing drizzle could lead to icy roadways and slick conditions.

: Howdy! Some folks east of Interstate 25 into the Nebraska Panhandle are going to see some snow mixed with freezing drizzle tonight into Tuesday morning.

Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
