The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says southeast Wyoming residents can expect cooler weather and a "taste of fall" today.

The agency posted the following on its website:

Cool and breezy conditions will prevail across the area Tuesday behind this afternoon's cold front. It will fel like fall out there with high temperatures only in the 60s and low 70s! Low clouds are likely especially near the mountains and along and north of the US26 corridor, with a few brief light rain showers possible. Expect clouds to break and winds to ease into the afternoon hours.
