A canopy replacement project underway at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is expected to continue until mid-June.

That's according to CRMC CEO Margo Karsten, who says at least one entrance and exit to the hospital's parking garage will be kept open at all times. Karsten also says flaggers and signs will clearly guide motorists through the area.

She is reminding people the hospital has a free valet parking service that is available Monday through Friday. The pedestrian entrance to the garage and about 20 feet of nearby sidewalk will be closed through mid-June.

Hospital officials say the canopy project is the final phase of an on-going exterior improvement project that started two years ago.
