UPDATE: Highway 30 Now Open Following Gas Leak Closure
UPDATE: noon; The highway is now open, according to Cheyenne Police.
Cheyenne Police say a gas line break has prompted the closure of a stretch of U.S. Highway 30 between E. Pershing and Whitney Road.
People should avoid the area until further notice.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.
