A 59-year-old Carpenter woman died Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 25 outside of Glendo.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Marci Biesheuvel was a passenger in a pickup that was traveling north on I-25, when the driver lost control on the icy, slush-covered road.

The pickup spun into the median, came back across the northbound lanes, slid off the roadway and rolled 3/4 times, coming to rest on the passenger side.

Biesheuvel, who was not wearing her seat belt, was thrown from the pickup.  She was taken to Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas where she died from her injuries.

The Patrol says the driver was buckled up, and was able to get out of the pickup without help.
