At last report, Interstate 80 in Wyoming was closed to light, high profile vehicles between Cheyenne and Rock Springs.

I-25 was under the same restrictions from the Colorado State Line to Glendo. That's according to the WYDOT Road And Travel conditions website. Both stretches of interstate were under an "extreme blow over warning."

The website defines light, high profile vehicles Closed to all high profile vehicles under 20000 GVW due to extreme blowover risk. All campers under 20,000 LBS are restricted."

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for wind pone areas, including the Summit between Cheyenne and Laramie:


The wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming can expect gusts of 50 to 65 mph into Monday, while the rest of the area will see widespread gusts of 40 to 55 mph through the day. The persistent strong winds will finally ease on Tuesday.
