Wyoming U.S. Senator Rips Democrats Over Stimulus Bill Vote
Wyoming Senator John Barrasso took to the floor of the U.S. Senate on Monday to rip Democrats for their refusal to go along with a stimulus package designed to pump money into the economy in light of widespread business shutdowns due to the coronavirus.
Democrats argue that the Republican-backed proposal is too friendly to big business and doesn't do enough to protect American workers.
At last report, the two sides were still trying to work out an agreement on the measure that would reportedly pump about $2 trillion into the U.S. economy.
