Wyoming Motorcyclist Hits Deer, Dies From Injuries
A 63-year-old Wyoming motorcyclist who struck a deer southwest of Wright has died from his injuries.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Steven Sorensen was riding west on Wyoming Highway 387 around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 when he hit a deer near mile marker 129.
The Patrol says Sorensen and his bike slid about 450 yards before coming to rest in the westbound lane.
Sorensen was flown to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, but died from his injuries on Aug. 20.
The Patrol says Sorensen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
