Wyoming Man Dies From Injuries in Skateboarding Accident

A 23-year-old Wyoming man is dead after falling off his skateboard while "skitching" in Lander Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3:38 p.m. in the 600 block of Jefferson Street near the intersection of Riverview Road.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Joshua Hendrickson was holding on to the driver's side of a Jeep while skateboarding when he lost control of his board and fell off.

After being dragged a short distance, Hendrickson let go of the Jeep.  He fell to the pavement and the Jeep ran him over.

Hendrickson was taken to the Lander hospital then life-flighted to Casper where he died from his injuries.
