Wyoming Has The Lowest Game of Thrones Ratings In America
The Cowboy State has the lowest percentage of Game of Thrones fans in the nation, according to a study citing television ratings from the series debut in 2010 through the seventh season finale in 2017.
The study estimates that only 0.55% of Wyoming residents have ever watched an episode of the hit HBO show. Based on that percentage, there would be just over 3,200 GoT fans in the Cowboy State.
In Hawaii, just over 1% of the population watches the show, the second-lowest viewership behind Wyoming. Iowa, Idaho and West Virginia round out the bottom five states for GoT ratings.
7.48% of residents in the District of Columbia watch the series, the highest percentage in the nation. The northeast has more GoT viewers than any other region. Over 5% of the household in Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maryland watch the program.
