Red Flag Warning For SE Wyoming, Lightning Could Start Fires
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has posted a Red Flag Warning for critical fire danger for much of southeast Wyoming.
The agency posted the following on it's website:
'Another Red Flag Warning is in effect for the High Plains on Tuesday. While winds will not be as strong as yesterday, breezy conditions and low humidity will still have the potential to spread wildfire rapidly. Avoid any activities that could cause a spark!'

A few showers and storms are expected across the area late this afternoon through the evening. Some storms will have the potential to become strong to severe, with strong gusty winds, hail, and locally heavy rainfall possible. The primary window for stronger storms is between 5PM and 1AM. In addition, the gusty winds and lightning potential may extend in area beyond where rain falls. This could lead to heightened fire danger through the evening hours tonight.
