Wyoming Businesses Collecting Money For Suicide Prevention In May
Participating Taco John's restaurants and Jonah Bank outlets across Wyoming will be collecting money for local suicide prevention programs through the month of May.
That's according to Rhianna Brand, Director of Operations for the Cheyenne-based Grace for 2 Brothers Suicide Prevention organization.
Brand says branches of those businesses across the state will be accepting donations through the month, with the proceeds going to help programs in that same community.
For example, if someone makes a donation at a Taco John's outlet in Sheridan, the donation will go to a suicide prevention group in that area, as opposed to an organization operating in Cheyenne, Casper or Rock Springs.
She says those businesses are also giving out kitchen magnets with phone and text numbers for emergency suicide prevention help.
