CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — General election voting is underway in Wyoming. Absentee ballots were mailed out on Friday and people could start going to their county elections offices on Friday to vote an in-person absentee ballot.

Registered voters can still request an absentee ballot, which will continue to be mailed out daily, or they can pick them up in person through Nov. 2.

The general election is Nov. 3. Polling places will be open on Election Day, but officials are encouraging people to vote early by mail to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
